We welcome you to the SudoPole! We ask that you review these Terms of Use (TOU), which constitute a binding agreement that conditions your use of this site ("Agreement"). We have tried to avoid unnecessary legal verbiage. Our goal is to protect our rights in order to provide you with access to the content available at this site.
If you do not wish to be bound by this Agreement after you have read it, please leave the site. If you remain on this site, or return thereafter, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
We are currently accepting posts for events occurring in the Seattle metro area. We plan on opening the SudoPole in a variety of cities worldwide. If you are interested in having a pole in your city, please contact us.
Although not required, we would appreciate it if you could include a link to us on your website, event flyers, or wherever else you feel the need.
Rule #1: You must follow the rules.
Rule #2: No Discrimination
Events posted must be open to the general public. Disallowing a person based on race or other stereotypes are prohibited.
Rule #3: No Duplicate Postings
Event postings may be submitted at any time prior to the event; however, you must select the proper date for the event. Do not clutter the SudoPole with duplicate postings. If the event is occurring on multiple days, feel free to submit one posting for each day.
Rule #4: Quality Postings Only
Unrelated posts and spam will not be tolerated. Refer to the "Terms of Use" below for a more detailed description of our posting requirements.
Rule #5: Quality Categories
Post events in the proper category. If your event does not seem to fit in any of the main categories, please post your event under "Other". Announcements, proposals, missing persons, lost items etc. may also be posted in the "Other" category.
Rule #6: No Bots
You may not use automated means, including spiders, robots, crawlers, data mining tools, or the like to post or download data from SudoPole - unless expressly permitted by SudoPole.
Rule #7: Deletion of Postings
We reserve the right to delete any posting at any time for any reason. We also reserve the right to permanently block any user who violates these Terms of Use.
1. MODIFICATIONS TO THIS AGREEMENT
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify or otherwise alter these terms and conditions at any time. Such modifications shall become effective immediately upon the posting thereof. You must review this agreement on a regular basis to keep yourself apprised of any changes.
2. CONTENT
You understand that all postings, messages, text, files, images, photos, video, sounds, or other materials ("Content") posted on, transmitted through, or linked from the SudoPole ("Service"), are the sole responsibility of the person from whom such Content originated. More specifically, you are entirely responsible for each individual item of Content that you post, email or otherwise make available via the SudoPole. You understand that SudoPole does not control, and is not responsible for Content made available through the Service, and that by using the Service, you may be exposed to Content that is offensive, indecent, inaccurate, misleading, or otherwise objectionable. Furthermore, SudoPole site and Content available through the Service may contain links to other websites, which are completely independent of the SudoPole. SudoPole makes no representation or warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or authenticity of the information contained in any such site. Your linking to any other websites is at your own risk. You agree that you must evaluate, and bear all risks associated with, the use of any Content, that you may not rely on said Content, and that under no circumstances will SudoPole be liable in any way for any Content or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any Content posted, emailed or otherwise made available via the Service. You acknowledge that SudoPole does not pre-screen or approve Content, but that SudoPole shall have the right (but not the obligation) in its sole discretion to refuse, delete or move any Content that is available via the Service for any reason.
3. POSTING CONDUCT
You agree not to post, email, or otherwise make available Content: a) that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, slanderous, invasive of another's privacy, or is harmful to minors in any way; b) that is pornographic or depicts a human being engaged in actual sexual conduct including but not limited to (i) sexual intercourse, including genital-genital, oral-genital, anal-genital, or oral-anal, whether between persons of the same or opposite sex, or (ii) bestiality, or (iii) masturbation, or (iv) sadistic or masochistic abuse, or (v) lascivious exhibition of the genitals or pubic area of any person; c) that harasses, degrades, intimidates or is hateful toward an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or disability; d) that impersonates any person or entity, including, but not limited to, a SudoPole employee, or falsely states or otherwise misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity (this provision does not apply to Content that constitutes lawful non-deceptive parody of public figures.); e) that includes personal or identifying information about another person without that person's explicit consent; f) that is false, deceptive, misleading, deceitful, misinformative, or constitutes "bait and switch"; g) that employs misleading email addresses, or forged headers or otherwise manipulated identifiers in order to disguise the origin of Content transmitted through the Service.

SudoPole assumes no responsibility or legal liability for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any event information, or other information, disclosed from this website. The information is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied. The data and information are subject to change at any time without notice. SudoPole is not responsible for material submitted or posted to the website by users. SudoPole does not pre-screen, monitor, review or edit the Content posted by users. 5. JURISDICTION
This Web site is hosted on servers located in the United States and is intended to be viewed by residents of the United States. In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to this site, you agree that the exclusive venue for litigating disputes shall be in state or federal court in Seattle, Washington.
